Norsepower Oy Ltd., the leading provider of lowmaintenance, software operated, and data verified auxiliary wind ropulsion systems, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Finnish shipping company Viking Line to install its Rotor Sail Solution onboard the M/S Viking Grace, an LNG-fuelled cruise ferry.
Wärtsilä has been awarded the contract to supply a biohybrid production plant to the German energy company, Erdgas Südwest GmbH. The new plant will produce both bioLNG (liquefied biogas) and LNG. The contract with Wärtsilä was signed in December, and delivery will be made on a fast-track basis.
