A study visit to Gothenburg behind us

Go LNG and EnviSum projects togheter organised last week 2-days conference in Gothenburg, Sweden  combined with study visits to Lidköping Biogas Plant, DFDS Petunia Seaways, Emerson Solutions factory and a guided tour around the Port of Gothenburg and a visit to Nya Älvsborg Emission Measurement Station.

The conference was dedicated to the changes that have taken place after the introduction of the Sulphur directive in the Baltic Sea Region.

The first day was divided in two parts. First track devoted to Liquid Biogas Plants with introduction to Lidköping Biogas Plant and study visit, presentation of different business models and the latest technical development. Second one was devoted to an overview of scrubber technology and study visit to DFDS Primula Seaways.

Second day was focused on Sulphur Emission Control Areas (SECA) with perspective of different stakeholders in the Baltic Sea Region. At the same time was held company visit at Emmerson Process Management System. The conference ended with guided tour of Port of Gothenburg and a visit to Nya Älvsborg Emission Measurement Station.

The conference was attended by representatives of ports, equipment producers, shipowners, authorities, academia and companies from the LNG and LBG sector.
