From 4 to 7 September 2018 SMM, the leading international maritime trade fair, will welcome maritime decision makers from all around the globe to the exhibition complex of Hamburg Messe und Congress.
The biggest international trade event for shipbuilding and shipping provides a comprehensive overview of the entire value chain of the maritime sector. With more than 2,200 exhibitors from 69 countries, including major players participating for the first time, the fair halls’ 90,000 square metres of exhibition space are fully booked months in advance. The number of national pavilions has increased again, with Panama, Estonia and Columbia each represented by a dedicated pavilion. The Japanese shipyard association JSEA has requested a 50 per cent enlargement of its exhibition space, sending a clear signal to the industry.
With a rich conference programme and a featured topic on each day of the fair, SMM will give answers to the most urgent questions of the maritime sector. The leading international maritime trade fair takes place in Hamburg every two years. More than 2.200 exhibitors and roughly 50,000 visitors are expected to attend the trade fair in the famous port city from 4 to 7 September 2018.
