Floating Jettyless LNG transfer system

Bunkering; Maritime transport

The UTS jettyless transfer system is a tool to transfer LNG (or any other fluid) between point A and B. It doesn’t matter whether the terminal is floating or onshore, we can connect to any terminal and ship with our jettyless loading system.

Connect LNG
When the vessel arrives, it is safely moored by a conventional multibuoy mooring system or similar, and the UTS™ system is moved out to the vessel by a tug where it is connected to the vessel by a vacuum attachment system. The UTS™ system is compatible with a wide range of ships and terminals with no modifications. It is easily adapted to support any pipe diameter or multiple transfer lines in parallel, to meet all requirements for strength, flow rate, pressure loss and boil off. Since the system is floating, it provides the possibility of relocation or resale should the demand at a certain location change over time, hereby significantly reducing investment risk. The UTS™ system is equipped with lightweight and flexible aerial hoses that are hoisted from the platform deck by the ship crane for connection to the ship manifold. This completes the connection between the ship and the onshore terminal, and LNG can be transferred through aerial hoses, over the uts platform deck through rigid piping and on through the floating flexible hoses. The system allows for transfer from ship to shore, shore to ship, or ship to ship.
